About Jesse
A Little About Jesse

Hi, I am 22 years old and go to the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, pursuing a degree in Economics. I am an alumnist of New Mexico Military Institute. I am a 1st Lieutenant in the Colorado Army National Gurad as a product of the early commissioning program.  I will be attending the US Army Corps of Engineers Officer Basic Course in February 2005 at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

My 1985 Camaro Z28 is a 305 V-8 with Tuned Port Injection (TPI), a 700R4 automatic transmission, a Glasstek 2 inch cowl hood, and 91 style bumper ground effects. It is painted Indigo Metallic Blue. My mods as of now include: Holley adjustable fuel pressure regulator, 19# Ford Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) injectors, MSD 6A ignition, Accel ignition coil and 8.8mm spark plug wires,  SLP throttle body airfoil, self ported and polished intake upper plenum, K&N filter on a custom cold air intake, Jamex strut tower brace, BMR lower control arms, KYB GR2 shocks and struts, a few Energy Suspension bushings, Moser Engineering c-clip 28-spline axles, Moser Engineering 3.42 ring and pinion, SLP/Zexel-Torsen 28-spline take-out posi, Ed Wright stage 2 chip, an aftermarket wing found in the back seat when I bought it, Hedman Hedders with Y-pipe, and a Hooker Aerochamber muffler. I also added a Kenwood KDC-MP8017 deck, which plays MP3's, Kenwood 6x9 4-way speakers, Infinity Reference 4x6 plate speakers, and a couple personal touches.

I found out were my wing came from. It is made by Wings West. Universal F40 53". I think it's kinda cool to have a nice wing for free. The person that found it is a pretty cool guy from Canada...name is undisclosed though. Email me if you really really want to know.

CURRENT PROJECT: Find/build an engine and replace it because I threw a few rods in the 305. Polish recently aquired 85 IROC wheels while I'm waiting to afford tires to wrap them with.

I purchased the car in September of 1999 and saved it from a pizza delivering death. The owner of the car was going to pretty much drive it until the wheels fell of as his pizza delivering car. I have since been able to start restoring it, as it has had a history of problems that needed to be fixed. It currently has about 175,000 miles on it and is running strong.

My future plans are to replace the drivetrain with a built 355 V-8 with around 350-375 horsepower, a T-56 6 speed transmission. It will aslo need a new paint job.  I have already picked out the new color, which will not be disclosed until my baby is out of the paint shop.  I don't know when that will be since I will not be able to afford it for quite some time.  I was hoping to have it done spring 2004, but that does not look like it will happen now :(.
